The board said goodbye to Mrs. Peggy Dewberry, celebrating her accomplishments as an eight-year board member and as a teacher at Malakoff Elementary for twenty-three years. Superintendent Don Layton thanked Mrs. Dewberry for her service, dedication, and love of our Tiger Students.
The board then swore in its newly elected members, Pat Jones, Keith Massingill, and Bryan Young. They then reorganized the board voting in the following officers: President Jason Dalrymple, Vice President Keith Massingill, and Board Secretary Bryan Young.
