A Message from the Principal

Dear Tool Tigers and families,

My name is Shelby Teague and I am the new principal at Tool Elementary School.  I am so excited to take on this journey with you! As our theme indicates, our school is "out of this world'!  We look forward to all of the learning and memories we are going to make along the way.  Our staff has been busy planning and preparing to make this year spectacular! All students have gifts they bring to the table and we look forward to discovering what those are, and teaching them the best ways to use our strengths, as well as how to work on our weaknesses.  One of our goals this year is to make sure all students WANT to be in school.  Willing participants make for the best pupils, and we, of course, could not accomplish this without parent assistance. Speak positively about school and all of the awesome things we are going to learn, even when things aren't going the way we expected.  It all begins with the adults, and that means staff too!  Students model what they see, and we want our students to see the best of the best.  At the end of the day, the common goal should be to produce capable and kind humans who can make a positive impact on the world around them; therefore, that will be our number one goal.  Welcome back!! Now let's get ready to blast off to "infinity and beyond"!
